To College Launchpad
Study Tools
Teaches students how to use AI the right way: better prompting, smarter constraints, verification, and iterative improvement—so their work is stronger in school and more compelling in college narratives.
What students actually gain
Immediate benefits
Smarter study workflows and faster learning, with better essays and presentations through structured feedback, stronger STEM problem-solving support, and improved communication, clarity, and confidence.
College + internship advantage
Students build a major-aligned capstone they can use in applications, a stronger activity story backed by real work, real-world experience through shadowing, and portfolio-ready projects like slides, writeups, demos, and visuals. Students also graduate with a college ready portfolio project, certificate of completion, and a personalized recommendation letter
Incredible Numbers
Students
More than 75 students have already benefited from the Launchpad. Students gain practical AI skills and guidance they can use in school, projects, and future opportunities.
Capstone Projects
Students have completed more than 150 capstone projects through the program. Each project is designed to give students meaningful, major-aligned experience they can showcase.
Hours of Internship
Students have gained more than 300 hours of internship experience through the program. These experiences give students real-world exposure and help them connect what they learn to future careers.
A Look at What Our Students Accomplished
Take a look at the work our students completed during the program, including their capstone projects, project write-ups, and letters of recommendation.
I learned how to use AI practically and apply it to real-world projects.
Creating my own app ignited my interest in AI and made me want to explore the field further.
I got the chance to work on multiple projects, which allowed me to explore different domains and discover what I enjoy.
The program helped me improve my presentation skills and gave me more confidence in communicating my ideas.
I’m proud of the work I created during the program and the Letter of Recommendation I earned.

An 8-Week Program Built for Real Results
Weeks 1–4 build strong foundations for using AI tools responsibly and effectively.
Weeks 5–8 focus on a major-aligned capstone plus a shadow internship pathway.
WEEKS 1–4
Core AI Foundations
Students learn best practices for prompts, constraints, verification,
and iterative improvement. They build study workflows, use AI as a
tutor, and strengthen writing and presentation outputs through critique.
Focus: fundamentals + repeatable workflows
WEEKS 5–8
Capstone + Shadow Internship
Students choose a capstone aligned to their intended major and produce
a project they can reference in applications. The shadow internship
pathway adds real-world context and storytelling strength.
Focus: major-aligned proof + portfolio
Major-Aligned Capstone Pathways
Students pick a track aligned to what they plan to study—so the final
project becomes a credible part of their application story.
Communications Studio
Deliverable:
Strategy + campaign assets + final presentation.
Bio, Health & Biomedical
Deliverable:
Evidence-based investigation + solution/awareness plan.
Social Sciences & Psychology
Deliverable:
Evidence-based interpretation grounded in context + sources.
Engineering
Deliverable:
Feasible solution with visuals + rationale.
CS & Math Majors

Few Portfolio Projects Developed by Our Students
Students build practical projects that allow them to apply AI tools, develop real-world skills, and create meaningful work they can showcase in their portfolios.
AI Study App: “Smart Study Buddy”
A student-designed AI web app that turns class notes into flashcards and quizzes. The project included an interactive study dashboard, flip-card animations, quiz scoring, and error handling to create a useful review product.
Skills Developed
Prompt engineering, frontend development, AI integration, debugging, and product presentation.
Entrepreneurial Offer Design for SHIP AI Labs
A student reworked the positioning and parent-facing offer for SHIP AI Labs by identifying parent objections and developing value-driven solutions, bonuses, and guarantees.
Project Focus
The student also created a no-code AI workflow for lead follow-up, creating a pilot growth system for real sales conversations with human approval.
10-K Financial Analysis Project
A student selected a public company and used AI to analyze its 10-K filing like an entry-level equity research analyst, examining risk factors, management tone, revenue, debt, and cash flow.
Final Deliverables
Investment thesis, risk matrix, SWOT analysis, and a professional five-slide buy, sell, or hold presentation supported by reusable AI prompts.
Biotech Journey: From Molecule to Market
A student created a presentation exploring the drug lifecycle from discovery through post-market monitoring, covering all seven stages of the process.
Project Focus
The project focused on simplifying technical concepts, incorporating real-world examples and challenges, and communicating scientific ideas clearly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Ship AI Labs experience.
How long is the program, and how are classes structured?
The program runs for 8 weeks total. Weeks 1–4 focus on live classes and application-based practice to build foundational skills. Weeks 5–8 transition into a hands-on capstone project and an integrated internship experience.
How do cohorts and class sizes work?
New cohorts begin on a monthly basis. To ensure every student receives meaningful, direct guidance and mentorship, each cohort is capped at just 7 to 10 students.
What is the capstone project and portfolio piece?
Students don't just sit through lectures—they build a functional capstone project. Upon completion, students leave with a practical showcase item ideal for college applications, scholarships, internships, and personal portfolios.
How much does the program cost?
The upcoming cohort is available at a discounted enrollment rate of $750.
What practical skills do students learn?
